Osnat Issan Partner

Osnat Issan is a partner in the firm whose practice focuses upon aviation finance, operations, and regulation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate counselling and commercial law.

Prior to joining Gottlieb, Gera & Co. Advocates, Osnat served as Vice President and General Counsel of C.A.L. Cargo Airlines, Israel’s largest air freight operator, and was active in the group’s international expansion. Before joining C.A.L., Osnat was a partner at a prominent Tel-Aviv law firm where she focused on both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, as well as corporate counseling to both public and private companies. Osnat also has experience in venture lending and other asset backed financing transactions.

During her tenure at C.A.L., she managed the group’s legal affairs, including corporate finance, corporate governance, and investments. Osnat has been an integral part of executing a large-scale aircraft fleet renovation program involving the purchase, financing, and leasing of wide-bodied 747-400 aircraft. Osnat is also actively involved in the legislative process resulting in major revisions to the Israeli aviation regulations, and is deeply familiar with the relevant Israeli regulators. Osnat has operational experience working with local counsel in the United States and Europe on flight operations and other day-to-day practical matters facing aircraft operators, including commercial agreements.
